Teacher Education University, a division of the Teacher Education Institute, is an Orlando-based Higher-Ed institution that offers online courses taken by teachers in the USA and abroad pursuing professional development and master's degrees.

As a Higher-Ed institution, Teacher Education uses the power of Maestro to let its students take ownership of their academic life, using the Maestro front-end to track their own performance, communicate with their teachers and advisors, request credit transfers, print transcripts and much more.

A customized version of Maestro was implemented in the 2Q 2007, using MySQL as the back-end database and meeting the requirements of the hosting infrastructure already in place at the Teacher Education University.

By automating many of the daily tasks and streamlining the admission process, the Teacher Education University staff can better service their growing student base and have accurate, dependable data whenever needed.
