Savant provides a very intuitive interface and a user-friendly operation, so it can be used by both technical and non-technical people who need to know the current network status associated with geographical information.  As a carrier grade web GIS application, Savant is  intended to continuously monitor network location alarms originating from multi-vendor, multi-technology network elements.

Customer Service Tool

Savant monitors network location and the equipment availability, correlating the alarms with customers' complaints, allowing customer care to provide excellent customer service by giving them access to the right information.  As a Customer Service (CS) tool, Savant will also provide a way for CS representatives to quickly respond to users questions and comments regarding coverage issues, identifying existing conditions and possibly detecting new issues based on user feedback

Savant allows a precise graphical visualization up to the street corner level, placing the sites and customers' complaints at their exact geographical location. This graphical information can be used to gain valuable insight such as assessing impact and priority of failures.

Fast Failure Detection

Savant can be used by different types of users to graphically visualize color coded alarm information associated with geographical data, correlating these alarms with trouble-ticket information, allowing fast failure detection and isolation. This way, users will be able to identify trouble spots in the network and have a measurement of the network availability and reliability.
